I would guess that it is a combination of two factors: The fact that the level editor is new and the fact that Pizza Tower developers would apply optimization techniques that level creators do not apply. The performance is very erratic, most of the time it goes poorly, except for specific types of levels. However, I think it's only a matter of time before there start to be cool levels, and little by little, Pizza Tower's customizable levels will be an incredible thing.
The creator is still updating and changing the mod and the level editors are still experimenting and testing the capabilities of the system. At the time of the creation of this guide, the mod has been published a couple of weeks ago, this is still very new and I don't think we will see big great levels after weeks or months.
